Finally!: “The Wackness” nationwide release schedule revealed

Every year there are a few movies that create huge amounts of buzz on the Film Festival circuit. This year’s no different with movies like “Son of Rambow” (which is probably my second favorite movie of 2008 behind “WALL-E”) and “Foot Fist Way” (Which I thought was overrated). But no movie has turned as many Film-Festival-going heads as “The Wackness.”

I’ve been hearing insane amounts of positive feedback from this movie about a 1990’s drug-peddling teenager. Finally, after all this anticipation, I’ll get to see “The Wackness” when it drops in my town (Ann Arbor) on July 25, which means I’m going to have a pretty good week.

With “The Dark Knight,” which totally trumps “The Wackness” in the I-gotta-see-this-shit category, coming out just seven days before this, I can’t imagine a better back-to-back weekend movie experience. Suffice to say, I’m pretty freakin’ pumped.

Check out the official Red Band for “The Wackness” below…
