WTF is Tyrannosaurus Rex?

Rob Zombie is keeping his upcoming project “Tyrannosaurus Rex” really secretive — just the kind of campaign that really gets me riled up. I obsessed the “I saw it. It’s alive. It’s huge!” viral campaign for “Cloverfield” until I could finally see it, and now, even though I’ve never been a fan of Zombie’s work, this project is stirring up similar levels of curiosity.

Before today, all I had to go by was this crazy, gun-wielding teaser poster and quite possibly my favorite tagline ever: “51% Motherfucker, 49% Son of a Bitch.” But I just read a very brief description on Slashfilm of what the movie could be about:

T-REX is about a wrestler named Tyrannosaurus Rex who is on the run from a biker gang from hell.”

Ok. No real dinosaurs. That’s a little disappointing, but how badass does this sound? A biker gang from hell? Freakin’ awesome.

We’ve also got some more concept art from Zombie, who posted it on his Myspace blog:

“obsessed” over cloverfield is a gross understatement.
